It is tested to 1 million cycles and comes with a 2-Year APG Cash Drawer manufacturer warranty. It is primarily meant to auto-open via the receipt printer but can be manually opened via key turn as well. IMPORTANT -The printer auto-open feature requires a cable between the drawer and receipt printer. This cable does NOT come with the drawer because there are many different cables for the various printers in the market. The most common are the CD014a for STAR printers and the CD005a for Epson printers. SQUARE users typically have the STAR network receipt printer cabled to this drawer via the CD014a cable. more »
